Woman & Home Denim Edit

Posted: Jan 02 2015

I was recently asked to feature in the Woman & Home Denim Edit, which was published in the February 2015 issue.  It was so lovely to escape the exhaustive world of motherhood for a day and experience some real pampering - with professional hair and make up too! Like most women, having my photo taken does not come naturally and I did take a while to loosen up! But the final photos are really lovely - especially in front of all the blue Liberty wallpaper that was draped to create a stunning backdrop. The shoot took part at Curtain Road Studio in Shoreditch and I was one of five women selected to take part. Here I am on the right styled by the Fashion & Shopping Editor Lynda Bell. My look was 'double denim':

"Don't be afraid of embracing this trend - double denim is even more wearable if you split the colours. Mix in a fresh white jean or team a light denim shirt with darker jeans. Go darker on top if you have a bigger bust". For the shoot I wore white, skinny fit jeans (£160) from Donna Ida, denim shirt (£169.39) from AG Jeans, the cutest little kitten heels (£197) from Lucy Choi, necklace (£25.95), pendant (£175) and ring (£305) all Thomas Sabo, watch (£330) by Tissot and bag (£275) from Milli Millu. You can watch a quick round up of the shoot here.
